Anna Meza, SNS

Resource Specialist

Anna Meza, SNS, is the Resource Specialist for Nutrition Services. While she fills most mornings ensuring that our kitchens have the staffing needed to feed the kids nutritious and delicious meals, she really does this work to make sure that there's great employment opportunities out there for the community that embraces the students of D6.

With a School Nutrition Specialist Certificate and a Associates of Applied Sciences in Culinary Arts, spending the last 9 years feeding out students is considered a gift of a career! Anna also enjoys working with the Colorado School Nutrition Association in a variety of ways, and this year is serving as the Conference and Education Chair, making sure that there are Professional Development and Educational opportunities easily accessible to lunch gals and guys across the state.

When not busy with School Nutrition, Anna enjoys getting out on adventures with her partner and 2 kids, enjoying everything from live music at the Moxi (especially awesome local acts!) and getting all her steps in at the Denver Zoo.
